I was tired of manually draining the pool cover every week, but this pump's automatic shutoff kicks in when the water level drops so I don't have to babysit it. The 33-foot cord reaches my outlet without an extension cord, which made setup a breeze.

The check valve adapter is a thoughtful inclusion—no more siphoning water back onto the cover after it stops. I’ve been using it to keep my hot tub cover clear, and the 33-foot cord gives me plenty of reach to the outlet.

The 33ft cord is what sold me since my pool is far from any outlet, and it reached with room to spare. Pumped the standing water off my cover in maybe 20 minutes without me babysitting it.
